Privacy Policy for Pesquera Azul

This Privacy Policy explains how Pesquera Azul collects and uses your personal data. Pesquera Azul, through the general manager, is the data controller for the company’s processing of personal data. Where day-to-day responsibilities are delegated, it is noted under each individual point.

The Policy contains information about how data from our websites is collected, and general information on how we process personal data in accordance with European Parliament and Council Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (Data Protection Directive) as of 27 April 2016, and the Act on the processing of personal data of 15/06/18 no. 38 (the Personal Data Act) with associated regulations.

Processing of personal data at pazul.no

The general manager is responsible for Pesquera Azul’s processing of personal data at pazul.no and its accompanying subpages. It is optional for those who visit the website to provide personal data related to services, for example to receive newsletters or to register for events. The grounds for processing is subject to the consent of the individual, unless otherwise specified.

Pesquera Azul is itself the data processor and supplier of the development, maintenance and operation of pazul.no and its subpages.

Data collected related to the operation of the website is stored on separate cloud-based servers.

Web statistics

Pesquera Azul collects anonymised data about visitors to pazul.no. The purpose of this is to compile statistics that we use to improve and further develop the information available. Examples of what answers the statistics provide are: how many visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which website the users come from, and which browsers are used.

The data is processed in an anonymised and aggregated form. Anonymised means that we cannot track the information we collect back to an individual user.

Cookies

Cookies are a standard technology used by almost all websites today. Cookies are a small text file that are stored on your computer. The files contain information on, for example, settings you make on the website, technical information about the device you are using, which pages on the website you visit, and how you navigate between the different pages.

Pesquera Azul uses Google Analytics to analyse the use of the web pages. Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by such a cookie by using pazul.no is sent to Google and stored on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on the activity of the website, and to provide other services in connection with activity on the website and use of the Internet. Google may also pass this information on to third parties if required to do so by law, or in cases where third parties handle information on behalf of Google.

We use Facebook Pixels that are registered when you visit pazul.no to be able to advertise to you via Facebook. Several websites use such cookies today so that Facebook can show you ads that are relevant to you and your previous search history. This allows Facebook to deprioritise ads that are not relevant or interesting to you, and to improve your overall user experience of Facebook.

Email and phone

Pesquera Azul uses email and phone calls as part of its daily work to fulfil tasks. The manager of the relevant department where the email or phone call is received is responsible for the processing of personal data in this context. Relevant information that arises from phone calls and email exchanges that take place as part of case processing are registered in the case management system.

Employees of Pesquera Azul also use email for general communication within the company and with external contacts. The individual is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant, and reviewing and deleting unnecessary content in their inbox at least once a year. Upon departure from the company, the email account will be deleted, but relevant emails are usually transferred to colleagues.

Sensitive personal data should not be sent by email. Please note that regular email is unencrypted. We therefore advise you to not send confidential or sensitive information via email.

Rights

Everyone has the right to basic information about the processing of personal data in a company upon request. Pesquera Azul’s systems are entitled to access their own data. They also have the right to request that incorrect or incomplete information, or information that Pesquera Azul is not permitted to process is corrected, deleted or added to.
